Aims and Scope

The goal of
this school is to provide a state-of-the-art overview about the
research in the field of
Early Planet Formation.
Topics include:
- Solar System Studies (mineralogy, sample analysis, chronology)
- Accretion Disk Physics (observations, evolution, turbulence, chemistry)
- Particle Growth Processes (experiments, simulations, dust in disks)
- Extrasolar planets.

The number of
participants is limited to about 50-60 students. For this reason we ask
each applicant for a brief description (~3-5 sentences) about their
motivation (research interests, etc.). Participants are also invited to give their own poster presentations.
Application Deadline: November 15, 2007.

The decision about acceptance will be announced by December 15, 2007.
Deadline for final registration of selected participants: January 18, 2008.

Costs

Registration
fee (successful participant): 100 Euros. The registration fee includes food and lodging.
Lodging will be provided for the duration of the Physics school in the
Physikzentrum (where also the lectures will be given).
