News 2018:

  1. Congratulations to Anders Kölligan, who successfully defended his PhD thesis on October 12th! Please stay tuned for his research articles (submitted to A&A)!


  1. On October 1st, André Oliva will join my research group at the University of Tübingen! André is starting his PhD on magnetospheric accretion onto neutron stars (funded by DAAD).


  1. On June 1st, Tobias Moldenhauer will join my research group at the University of Tübingen! Tobias is starting his PhD on the formation of early atmospheres of super-Earths (DFG funded).


  1. On April 1st, Gabriel-Dominique Marleau will join my research group at the University of Tübingen! Gabriel is working on the observability of accretion gas giants (funded by DFG in the SPP 1992).


  1. On February 21-23, we are organizing a Workshop on Low-Mass Early Planetary Atmospheres!

News 2017:

  1. End of September, our Japanese-US-German collaboration published a Science Journal article on the formation of massive black holes in the early universe via supersonic gas streams!

  1. Funded via SPP 1992 on the Diversity on Extrasolar Planets, a new Postdoc will join my Tübingen group for doing Exoplanet research early next year!
